This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications published by KS TechLab ("we", "us", or "our"), unless a specific application provides its own separate privacy policy. Different applications may offer different features and therefore request different permissions or use different third-party services. This policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected across our applications (each, an "App"). By downloading, installing, or using an App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Contents
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, the App may ask you to provide:
- Profile details such as your name, and profile photo
- Content you create or manage within the App (e.g. entries, records, files, notes, or attachments, depending on the App's features)
- Any information you voluntarily submit through support or feedback requests (e.g. your email address)
This data is used solely to operate the App's core features and, unless stated otherwise below, is stored locally on your device.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device information (device model, OS version, language, screen size)
- App usage and diagnostic data (crash logs, performance data, feature interactions)
- Advertising identifiers (e.g. Android Advertising ID) used for showing and measuring ads
- Approximate, non-precise data such as general region, inferred from your network, for analytics and ad delivery
We do not require an account or collect precise GPS location to use the App's core functionality.
2. Permissions We May Request
The App may request certain device permissions — such as camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage/file access, notifications, accessibility service, or similar device features — strictly to enable the specific in-app feature that requires them. A permission is only requested when the corresponding feature is used, and only the permissions actually declared in the App's manifest and Play Store listing apply to your installed version.
Data accessed through a permission is used only to provide the requested feature. Depending on the application's functionality, some data may be processed on the device or securely transmitted to trusted third-party service providers when required to provide that feature. Where applicable, such processing is described in this Privacy Policy or within the application's interface.
You can review or revoke any permission at any time from your device's Settings > Apps > select the app > Permissions. Revoking a permission may disable the related feature but will not affect the rest of the App.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the App's features
- To personalize your experience (e.g. currency, theme, saved data)
- To process and manage in-app purchases and subscriptions
- To display relevant advertising and measure ad performance
- To detect, diagnose, and fix technical issues and crashes
- To improve the App based on aggregated, anonymized usage trends
- To communicate with you if you contact us for support
4. Advertising & Google AdMob
The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob and may use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain your consent where required (e.g. under GDPR in the EEA/UK, or similar laws). AdMob and its partners may collect and use data — including your advertising ID, coarse device/location signals, and ad interaction data — to serve ads, including personalized ads, and to measure ad performance.
- Where consent is required, you will be shown a consent form before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time from the App's Privacy Options / Settings screen.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising in your device's ad settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization), or by resetting your advertising ID.
- Some App versions may offer a "Remove Ads" in-app purchase to disable ads entirely (see Section 5).
Learn more about how Google uses data from advertising partners at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, AdMob's own privacy practices at support.google.com/admob, and Google's EU User Consent Policy at google.com/about/company/user-consent-policy.
5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
The App may offer one-time purchases (e.g. "Remove Ads") and/or auto-renewing subscriptions (e.g. premium features) through Google Play Billing.
- All payments are processed by Google Play. We do not collect, see, or store your payment card, bank, or billing details — these are handled entirely by Google.
- Purchases are linked to your Google Play account. We only receive confirmation that a purchase was made (purchase token/status), which we use to unlock the corresponding feature.
- Subscriptions, where offered, automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, and are billed at the price/interval shown at the time of purchase.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions, and request refunds, at any time via the Google Play Store app > Menu > Payments & subscriptions, or through Google's refund policies.
- Purchases do not transfer if you uninstall the App or switch devices unless you sign in with the same Google account used for the purchase.
6. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
| Service | Purpose | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Ad serving & measurement | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) | Consent management for ads | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google Play Billing | In-app purchases & subscriptions | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google Play Services | App distribution, crash/diagnostics reporting | policies.google.com/privacy |
7. Data Storage, Retention & Security
- Most of your data (e.g. content you create and your app settings) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless a cloud-sync or backup feature is explicitly enabled by you.
- Uninstalling the App permanently deletes locally stored data, unless a backup was made via your device's OS-level backup.
- We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any information we do process, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
- Diagnostic/crash data and advertising data collected by third-party SDKs are retained according to those providers' own retention policies.
8. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data only:
- With service providers listed in Section 6, strictly to operate ads, billing, and diagnostics
- If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with continued protection under an equivalent privacy policy
9. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you
- Withdraw advertising consent at any time via the App's Privacy Options screen
- Opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information (we do not sell data)
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and request data portability
- Since most data lives locally on your device, you can also delete it directly by clearing app data/uninstalling the App from Settings
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as the revised policy is posted with the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
